Official Travel Contract

Terms & Conditions of Service

Welcome to The Travellers Holiday. By booking our spiritual tours, heritage itineraries, private transport services, boat cruises, or hotel packages, you enter into a binding agreement governed by the terms outlined below.

1 Booking Confirmation & Payment Terms

A tour reservation is officially confirmed upon receipt of the mutually agreed advance deposit and formal dispatch of a booking confirmation voucher from our central reservations desk. The outstanding balance must be cleared prior to tour commencement or at the time of hotel check-in, as defined in your finalized itinerary proposal.

  • Advance payment receipts and digital invoices are issued immediately via WhatsApp and Email.
  • Payments may be executed securely via Net Banking, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), IMPS/NEFT, or major Credit/Debit Cards.
  • Quoted prices are guaranteed against market fluctuations once the initial deposit has been recorded.
2 Mandatory Government Identification

In strict compliance with statutory regulations mandated by the Government of India, state tourism authorities, temple trusts, and partner hotels, all guests must possess and present valid original identity credentials at all checkpoints:

  • Indian Citizens: Original Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID Card, or Driving License.
  • Foreign Nationals & NRIs: Original Passport with a valid Indian Visa / e-Visa or OCI Card.
  • Special temple permits (e.g. Kashi Vishwanath Sugam Darshan, Mangala Aarti) require exact name and ID matching with your booking token.
3 Itinerary Adjustments & Force Majeure

The safety, spiritual satisfaction, and comfort of our travelers remain our supreme priority. The Travellers Holiday reserves the right to prudently adjust or reroute sightseeing schedules under unavoidable circumstances, including:

Unforeseen high water currents in the River Ganges impacting boat cruises, administrative temple closures, VIP protocol restrictions, major regional festival congestion, or weather advisories. In all such cases, our local tour coordinators will arrange suitable alternative visits without unnecessary disruption.

4 Vehicle Usage & Chauffeur Guidelines

Private vehicles (AC Sedans, Innovas, Crystas, and Tempo Travellers) are provided strictly in accordance with the pre-approved schedule agreed upon during reservation:

  • Vehicles are dedicated for authorized sightseeing and airport/railway transfers as outlined in your voucher.
  • Air conditioning is switched off while vehicles are stationary or traversing high-gradient mountain passes.
  • Extended local use beyond scheduled hours or outside city boundaries is subject to prior authorization and standard nominal tariff surcharges.
5 River Boat Rides & Cultural Etiquette

Traditional sunrise and evening Ganga Aarti boat cruises are conducted with certified boatmen equipped with mandatory life jackets. Guests are kindly requested to honor local customs:

  • Refrain from photography at sacred cremation ghats (Manikarnika & Harishchandra Ghats) in respect of Hindu funeral rites.
  • Dress modestly during visits to sacred sanctums, temples, and monastic complexes across Varanasi, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, and Bodh Gaya.
6 Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving any grievance cordially and promptly through our 24/7 guest relations desk. In the rare event of legal arbitration or disputes arising from our services, the matter shall fall exclusively under the judicial jurisdiction of competent courts located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India.
